Find us at wonderful Orleans House Gallery, serving delicious goodies and winter warmers. Please note that under current rules we can serve take-away only and are unable to offer seating in or outdoors - but there are many lovely riverside benches and walks, very nearby!
You’ll find warming soups and sourdough toasties on the menu and we are also a beautiful spot from which to grab your morning coffee and a freshly baked pastry (or an excellent bacon bap!), or to stock up on afternoon tea and cake for a wintery walk by the river. We serve mulled wine each day and mulled cider too at the weekends, a big hug in a cup! Please note that to operate in the safest way possible at the current time, our food and drink is currently served in plant-based, biodegradable packaging.

Welcome back!
We are open (for take-away only currently) from 9am until 5pm every Tuesday - Sunday but due to the current pandemic please be aware that we may need to close at short notice from time to time due to a staff shortage. We will do our best to add this to our stories on social media when it occurs but may not always be able to update the website when closures are for an hour or two. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
Last kitchen orders are taken at 4pm (Friday, Saturday and Sundays). Please note though, that we are currently operating reduced kitchen opening times of 10am-3pm Tuesday to Thursday. We are closed on Mondays.
During the Summer when the days are longer, we stay open a little later!
Well behaved dogs on a short lead are very welcome in the Courtyard.
COVID-19 Measures
We have a one way ordering system in place and are sanitising our surfaces regularly with anti viral cleaning products. We kindly request that all of our visitors wear a face mask when they enter the Stables Courtyard (unless holding an exemption). This is for the protection of all of our staff and customers.
